About Space CODEV

Space CODEV is a collaboration platform of the European Space community.

The collaborative software development website is based on Gitlab Core (also known as Gitlab Community Edition), and is operated by the Space CODEV Community. Documentation of the functionality is available via GitLab User Documentation.

Space CODEV is NOT an Open Source development environment. Projects hosted on the platform are typically developed by somewhat restricted communities, for example due to territory limitations of the applicable project licenses.

A typical project license in use on Space CODEV is the ESA Software Community License, which is restricted to the territory of the ESA Member States. Please refer to Joining Space CODEV for further details.
